事實上，隨著中國勞動力成本的提高以及中國機器人市場的發展，不少的的中國制造業企業都開始走上了轉型升級的道路。作為家電企業的領軍品牌，創維早在2012年，創維集團的高層便提出并實施“機器人戰略”，并將其上升為公司戰略級長期規劃，率先開啟了自動化征程。據不完全統計，創維已持續3年在智能化和信息化建設上投入，占固定資產投入占比的50%以上，數額高達1.5億元/年，占到每年營業額的0.5%以上，同時，創維未來還將加大投入力度進行智能化升級。

創維深耕彩電行業29年，深知彩電的生產流程復雜、程序繁復，屬于典型的離散型制造。為此，在“機器人戰略”的指導下，創維一方面以合作開放的態度，與優秀的機器人廠商合作開發定制化設備，積極調動社會資源進行機器人改造；另一方面創維也自主建立了團隊，專攻那些難度較大、合作領域小的項目。從創維自主研發的“自動打螺釘機器人”，到2014年彩電行業的“首條”全自動機芯生產線研制成功并投入使用，再到創維自主研發的WiFi全自動生產線……其智能化、自動化制造不斷突破，更一手建立了“整機全自動測試機器人”、“整機全自動包裝線”、“自主研發MES系統”等多個無人化設備群，在智能制造領域走在了前列。

實施“精細化”策略創維引領智能制造
2017年，創維以“國際化、精細化、智能化”作為各產業的戰略方向。其中精細化，就是通過智能制造工程降低成本，提高供應鏈整合的效率，依靠產品的質量和效率增長提升創維產品的市場競爭力。具體包括智能制造EMS、PLC、數字采集系統等的研究，新材料、新裝備、新工藝技術，加快實現智能制造的目標，實現創維彩電、機頂盒等主要產品智能制造的水平達到工業3.0級，通過3年的努力爭取做到4.0級。

根據智能制造的需要，創維一共規劃了29個信息化系統，目前已經投入了15個，覆蓋率達到50%以上。創維彩電事業本部副總裁、全球制造中心總經理 王德輝先生表示：“信息化系統是一個長期的過程，我們還會將信息化的建設繼續向前推進，一直達到100%全覆蓋，預計2020年全部完成，到那時候創維的智能化水平就非常高了，我們還將積極探索物聯網大數據的應用。”

中怡康品牌總經理左延鵲認為，隨著中國人口紅利減弱以及工業4.0的進一步推進，中國制造業已經走上了通過自動化提升效率的時代。在大趨勢面前，創維不斷推進精細化、智能化戰略，成為中國制造業智能升級的引領者。至今創維已研發出大量行業首創的應用工業機器人，其中機器人密度(每萬人的機器人保有量)在200臺以上，基本達到世界發達國家水平。
