按照兩部門聯合下發的申報通知，2018年省先進制造業發展專項資金企業技術改造項目支持重點為新產品開發、節能降耗、“兩化”融合。資金采取事后獎補方式，對企業技術改造項目的設備、研發投入，按照實際完成投資額（以發票為準）給予不高于30%的補助，最高不超過1000萬元。
2018年省先進制造業發展專項資金（中小企業類）項目主要支持中小企業公共服務（示范）平臺以及小型微型企業創業創新示范基地發展壯大，鼓勵服務平臺為中小企業提供服務。支持方式為事后獎補，同時，綜合考慮其服務中小企業數量、服務成效等因素，單個項目補助資金一般不超過300萬元。
